Commodity Insight Rebate Program Terms & Conditions
Participation in the Commodity Insight Rebate Program ("Program") constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Program Overview
The Commodity Insight Rebate Program is designed to help participants evaluate commodity variability through repeated testing of the same commodity over time. Each eligible commodity enrolled in the Program is considered a separate enrollment. Participants who meet all Program requirements for an enrollment will qualify for the applicable rebate.
Program Period
The Program begins October 1, 2026 and ends December 31, 2026.
To qualify for a rebate, all required samples for an enrollment must be received by a participating Rock River Laboratory location no later than December 31, 2026.
Eligibility
- Program participation is limited to eligible commodity feed types.
- Only samples analyzed through participating U.S. Rock River Laboratory locations are eligible.
- Only analyses designated within the Commodity Insight Rebate Program are eligible.
- NIR analyses only.
- Samples must be submitted through the designated Program portal and tested using the Program configuration.
- Rock River Laboratory reserves the right to determine eligibility of all enrollments, samples, and analyses.
Commodity Enrollments
- Each commodity must be enrolled separately.
- A rebate is earned only when all Program requirements are met for a specific commodity enrollment.
- Multiple commodity enrollments are permitted.
- Participants may earn multiple rebates by successfully completing Program requirements for multiple enrolled commodities.
- Samples from different commodities may not be combined to satisfy the requirements of a single enrollment.
Example: Four qualifying soybean meal samples constitute one eligible enrollment. Four qualifying barley samples constitute a separate eligible enrollment. Completion of both enrollments qualifies the participant for two rebates.
Sample Requirements
To qualify for a rebate, participants must:
- Enroll an eligible commodity.
- Submit four (4) qualifying samples for each enrolled commodity.
- Submit samples from the same farm or feed mill for a given enrollment.
- Submit each sample with a unique sample number and printed label.
- Ensure all samples are received by the participating laboratory before the Program deadline.
Samples that are incomplete, improperly identified, duplicate, ineligible, damaged, or received after the deadline may be excluded from the Program.
Rebate Details
- Participants who successfully complete the Program requirements for an enrollment will receive a rebate equivalent to the cost of one qualifying analysis for that enrollment.
- The Program follows a "buy three analyses, receive the fourth analysis free" structure.
- Standard analysis charges apply when samples are processed and reported.
- Rebate eligibility is determined separately for each commodity enrollment.
- Rebates will be issued after Program requirements have been fulfilled and verified.
- Rebate credits may be applied to a customer account or issued in another form determined by Rock River Laboratory.
- Rebates are expected to be issued in 2027.
- Shipping charges, rush fees, additional analyses, add-on testing, and other non-qualifying charges are not eligible for reimbursement.
- Rebates are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
Project Reports and Data Use
Participants who complete the Program may receive a summary report that may include:
- Comparisons to expected nutrient values;
- Evaluation of variability observed within the enrolled commodity;
- Comparisons to aggregated Program data; and
- Industry insights generated from Program results.
By participating in the Program, participants acknowledge and agree that Rock River Laboratory may use Program data in an aggregated, anonymized format for research, benchmarking, educational content, technical publications, marketing materials, presentations, and other business purposes.
No individual participant, farm, feed mill, company, or sample source will be identified in publicly shared data without permission.
Program Administration
Rock River Laboratory reserves the right to:
- Verify participant eligibility and compliance with Program requirements;
- Review and validate sample submissions;
- Reject or remove ineligible samples or enrollments;
- Correct administrative, billing, calculation, or processing errors;
- Modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time; and
- Interpret and apply these Terms & Conditions in the administration of the Program.
Limitation of Liability
Rock River Laboratory is not responsible for lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or improperly submitted samples, enrollments, documentation, or communications. Participation in the Program is at the participant's sole risk.
General Conditions
The Program is void where prohibited by law. All decisions regarding eligibility, participation, rebate qualification, and Program administration are final.
